Manchester United 2-0 Bolton Highlights: Ronaldo, Rooney founds net

Line up:
GK: VDSRB: Neville
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra
RM: Ronaldo
CM: Fletcher
CM: Anderson
LM: Park
ST: Tevej
ST: Berbatov

Subs: Amos, O’Shea, Nani, Giggs, Scholes, Rooney, Evans

Controversial penalty, eh? WTF? Who cares? As if, if that "lucky" penalty was not awarded, United would have never won the match! Justice has been done. Last time Rob Styles denied 4-5 penalty appeals to United, in 1-0 loss to Bolton. So as Fergie quoted it, "It was payback time. And He owes us another four".

I hate the teams who defend with ten men behind the ball. Bolton did exactly that yesterday, quiet proudly.

Team line up was rock solid. But, I for one don't understand how Fergie can select Neville ahead of Brown! I doubt if Fergie is suffering from amnesia. Somebody gotta remind him that Brown is a red devil, he is not injured and he didn't score that own goal against Liverpool. Neville for his life can't cross the ball. He should just retire. Rio and Vidic defended well. But our defense looked shaky at times. Evra was stupendous. He defended well and was involved in attack.

Anderson didn't impress me at all. Fletcher was good but our CMs lack that offensive mentality. They hardy played any through balls to strikers. United definitely lack a CAM. Park was very ineffective. He continually delivered crappy crosses which were either blocked or were too long. I would play Nani over him any day. But, Nani! Where do I start! This guy is one selfish prick. Whenever he got the ball he tried to imitate Ronaldo. His awfully unsuccessful attempts to beat the defenders just irritate me to death. The moment he gets the ball, he will do nothing but look for a chance to shoot.

Berbatov was again very impressive. I could see his work rate is improving. He was many times in better positions to receive a through ball or cross but others failed to deliver him. He made some delightful passes and almost scored on a header. Fletcher and Anderson offered nothing offensively. VDS was hardly tested and had nothing to do.

Ronaldo was the best player in offensive terms. He is regaining his composure but he is still a bit off pace. This is his only second start of the season and he scored twice. That shows why he is best in the world and better than others by miles. The whole game changed when Rooney came on. What a goal! His goal came as a sweet surprise. I had forgotten only that Rooney can score :P

Tevej was very poor. He just can't pass the ball and offered nothing. I would prefer Rooney ahead of him any day. Meanwhile, Rooney, in an interview, has said that Liverpool can expect to finish third at best...
