Phew... Finally, Wes Brown started the match. United defeated Blackburn Rovers 2-0. Brown scored the opener and Rooney sealed the win for United. So, Rooney back to normal, huh? :P

This was the season's most confident and promising performance by United. Ball movement, passing everything was great except finishing. United should have scored 6-7 goals considering the number of clear cut chances they got. With 3 more points we are now sixth in the league table.

Ronaldo was very poor today by his own standards. He is looking a bit rusty and missing the full pace. Still he got away with an assist and had two clear goal scoring opportunities. But he missed those! Probably he needs some rest and he would be back to 100% after 2-3 more games. He is developing a very good chemistry with Berbatov.

Defense was as solid as ever. Hardly troubled. O'Shea looks better in LB position than CM. Rooney was colossal. One goal and one assist. What more you can ask! 3 games 3 goals. Pure class. But he was again being played out of position. He was playing RM. He was excellent but I'm still not convinced with rooney playing in the RM position.

Giggs and Fletcher were not bad but mostly invisible. Fletcher most of the time looked clueless o the ball. all he did was to pass the ball back whenever he got the ball. I don't see Giggs as a starter. I think that summarizes his performance. Anderson was... ummm... okay.

Berbatov is gelling into the team gradually. He never had the real chance the whole game but he did created the chances for others. He getting more and more involved in the game. His work rate is improving. I love the players who are not selfish. This guy knows exactly when to shoot and when to pass. He could have got two assists yesterday if we were good in front of the goal. Anyway things are looking promising.
